HISTORY

 

In 1969,two young engineers began their resources and made a machine shop to develop high precision parts for the Aerospace Industry. Then, the industry has grown steadily and today become the largest machining, assembly and support services company parts for the Aerospace Industry.

EQUIPMENT

Modern Industries privately owned facilities house the latest technologies in machine tools, and this latest technologies influence the development of modern industry, and make the job easier and fastest with high quality of product in gaining more benefits and best result, especially in aerospace industry.

There are some of the latest technologies in development of equipment, below :

Precision Milling - In house milling equipment can handle parts up to a 40 in cube. Milling resources include two new integrated flexible machining lines with eleven Makino Horizontal Mills.

Precision Turning - A broad range of lathes can swing up to 43 inches. The lathe resources include several new state-of-the-art CNC Mori-Seiki machines.

• EDM Plunge Wire	• Grinding ID (manual and CNC) OD (manual and CNC) Surface
• Lapping	• Balancing

Large Part Turning

Complex Assembly - As customers push more manufacturing processes back to their suppliers, Modern has responded. Modern has developed extensive resources for product assembly. Bench top and clean room assembly workstations are integrated with machining. Clean rooms total 9,000 square feet, most of which is class 1000.

To provide more cost effective and timely service to customers, Modern will install the following services in-house within 12 months:

• Vacuum Heat Treating
• Annealing
